As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
How many more players do we want to loan out? If we're going to loan out Mari, Pepe and Chambers that leaves us desperately short in squad experience. Who replaces Saka if he got injured? What if White gets injured and Gabriel suspended?
Loaning out players has killed our midfield back up, leaving us to rely on an 18 year old when we have international players out on loan.
Whether people on here think they are good enough or not, we are leaving our squad vulnerable to injuries. Just because everything is good at the moment all we need is 3 long term injuries and we are well and truly stuffed. Arteta is playing a huge game of risk. We could've done with AMN to step in on Sunday and tonight.
Absolutely braindead the fucking lot of them. Turned a massive potential advantage against Liverpool (no Mane and Salah, plus everyone else out last week) to an almost certain defeat by packing off half our team at the same time as the AFCON and COVID cases
If we get slammed tonight then he had better secure a top four finish. Not that it will appease me but I'm in a small minority who couldn't give a shit about qualifying for that thing.....but I appreciate for commercial reasons its what the owners want, and also what 90% of our fans want
It's only AMN who's not available from last week ?
From last week yes, but knowing we would have Partey and Elneny away for a month, whose bright idea was it to send AMN on loan too......at a time of the year when COVID is ripe and when Guendouzi and Torreira were already packed off??!! Now we're scrambling around trying to get emergency loans when we have 3 players loaned out ourselves - one done only last week. Braindead
Was clearly gambling on xhaka being fit which is even worse !
Exclusive: Crucial next 24-48 hours in Arsenal’s pursuit for Dušan Vlahovic. Fiorentina willing to accept the Arsenal offer. Player willing to join. The club is still working to find an agreement with the agent. https://t.co/VQHpTMGmdi
Arsenal and Arthur both hoping that his loan move can be completed quickly. @Marcelo_Hazan reports Arthur will meet with Allegri tomorrow to try and push through deal. Arsenal will be doubly keen to get things wrapped up swiftly after Xhaka's red tonight. https://t.co/9PRiaEF6RG

My eldest lad tells me that we recalled Ayeez from pompey 2 minutes before half time tonight - somebody was panicking as soon as the red card was shown

The Florentina owner was saying that his agent is a nightmare to deal with as he wants a large slice of any transfer or contract renewal money.
Great to see that we're on page 666 of this thread. Surely that means that the coming of the beast is nigh? Would that by any chance be Joe Cole or Solomon Kalou?
According to @geglobo, Arthur is close to completing his loan move to #Arsenal. Talks between Arsenal & Juventus advanced yesterday & the Gunners will have an option to buy at the end of the season. The two clubs are currently negotiating over the fee. https://t.co/7aEshx3NNo
