I wanna go to Rome BUT.......

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Good point!

I watched AC Milan a couple months back, and for Serie A games, you DEFINATELY need ID and your ticket has your name printed on it.

Not sure about CL games though??

Anyone go to the San Siro last season??

T'is a good point but Arsenal provided a service if I remember rightly for the AC mialn game last season where you could enter/or amend the name on the ticket.

Milan is beautiful, as is Turin, Rome and no doubt many other places... especially the Italian Alps and Dolomites!

As for football stadiums...

San Siro is awesome! great stadium and good atmoshere. They have sellers on the streets with huge ice buckets full of bottles of beer... cheap too! great for the walk to the stadium

Juventus' old stadium is pants - not even their own fans liked it, and now they're building a new one... and, from what I've seen, the Olimpico (Roma) is far too big and that running track is just annoying.

i've booked my flight, have no idea how i'm gonna get a ticket for this one though. Worth the risk i guess. If not it'll be a couple of days in rome for me.

For Milan last year, you could call them and get the name on the ticket changed. It looked great quality, my name hand written on the ticket... Not that it mattered in the end, they didn't actually check my passport against my ticket. So the moral of the story is don't turn up too early, and they might not check your ticket.

Yeah, there was no checks going on at all last season at San Siro, they couldn't get us through the gates quick enough. Absolute free for all for seats as well, we showed our seat number to steward but he just said anywhere. Luckily enough we chose a spot right in line Cesc's strike.

What a moment that was!
