Wenger's Transfer Budget
Wenger's Transfer Budget
Has anybody read the article in The Daily Mail which suggests that the Arsenal board are so desperate to get Arsene to sign a new contract that they are willing to offer him a £75k per week contract & a transfer budget of £30m ? Are the board taking the piss ? So far this season we have sold players to the tune of £21.5m (according to the mail) and the board are willing to top that up with an extra £8.5m. If anyone wants to know why the fans are now turning against the board then this is just another example of why. What happened to the big transfer funds the board has claimed have been in place for the last 18 months for Arsene to use ? Where is all the extra money gone from the foreign tv deals (50m) that could not have been budgeted for as it was not expected ? I've said before that apart from missing top quality in a few areas this squad is too thin and needs extra bodies but £30m, in todays market, will go nowhere. The board are also willing to put a clause in Wengers contract allowing up to walk next year if he is unhappy so can somebody please tell me how the f*ck that is to rid the club of the instability it now finds itself in and how that clause is supposed to reassure our current squad and potential signings ? This board are a f*cking disgrace and it would be comical if it were not so serious

At what point did the Daily Mail start printing stories that we'd be interested in anyway? I thought they limited their output to made-up drivel about house prices and being murdered in your bed by scary asylum seekers.
I'm assured it's soft, strong and thoroughly absorbent though, so there may be a use for it after all.

Angry!!!!!
Due if they dont want to invest they can moove by side so someone who is interested can take the place, maybe he want to make money from da club, but can anyone tell me that this board is not making a kot of money out of the club and are not investing a bit. So leave the man take the job and take the club to the right place.
