Can anyone explain why the threads on the General Chat section of the website keeps showing me posts from yesterday made up until 6.00pm, yet on other sections has the newest threads/posts working okay?

If I press refresh, the posts update to the proper time, yet once I have finished reading a thread and then try and return to the other ones, it returns to the Thursday threads/posts!! :banghead: (and yes, I have got the right date and time set on my computer).

Anyone?

(Even after submitting this thread, it didn't pop up until I refreshed the page!!) :banghead: :banghead: :?

As minor a guess as I can make, I think this may have something to do with cached pages from your web browser. Sometimes they don't update properly and catch old history. Not that I know how to fix it.

If it ain't that it, I'm out.

Have you been getting high again?

This doesn't make any sense. Something maybe up with your web browser (or yourself).

Cheers Number 5. I think that's the problem. But does anyone know how I rectify it?

Khalid, I'm always high so that shouldn't play any part in it.

IHH have you tried clearning out your temporary internet files? This would clear your Internet cache!

Perhaps download an updated version of your web browser? Or a new one, Firefox, IE?

I found this link, don't blame me if we don't hear from you again for 6 months though.....

No I didn't, when I copy the url it makes my post blank. WTF?

Google this sentence and look at the fourth search result

web browser cached pages

Is the Microsoft Windows clock on your PC correct?

Sometimes my PC clock (bottom right hand corner of the screen) seems to change to a random time, and subsequently the threads on the Gooner forum go tits up, as well!

are you pressing the back button on your browser. that could explain why its finding older cached pages as opposed to following links that find the latest veresion of the page.
