My Gran is 92 and is still alive and kicking. She hasn't lost her marbles and you'll be pleased to know she still has full control over when - and where! - she shits

Her step dad is still alive in Australia, too!

As for being a "burden on others".... to me, that translates as being waited on hand and foot. Now, considering that includes being bathed and put to bed by young apprentice nurses... I think I'd cope!

Yeah fair enough if you can still be spritely and in control of your bowels at an old age then (serious here) youre right and the thought of being bathed by young nurses certainly makes me more interested

After all, dogs age something like 7 times as quicly as humans do, so he's been with plenty of 100+ year olds before.

Visited my 91 year old nan a few months ago... while we were there 2 community nurses* arrived, tended to her needs for an hour or so, got her changed etc.

* One was about 20, the other 17 I think. Both would have got it. I wished they were my community nurses

I want to live until I'm 110 years old.

I want to be incontinent. I want to spill my food and drink. I want to need special nursing. I want to cost the government a whole load of money.

It would be my little way of getting vengeance.

If the bloody government hadn't taxed me so much, I'd have drank and smoked myself to death by now.
