when I go to Arsenal Chat I can't see any threads
anyone else get this problem

I thought I'd just search old threads and post there
(only way I could see anything) and get some 'rebel' muppet saying old threads will be deleted

what's the point in even having old threads if they can't be commented on?
ridiculous

I wanted to check a prediction I made ten games ago about Villa
and a thread some1 else started about ebuoue playing well
since then I think Eboooue's been solid

obv rebel's got a wee bit too much time on his hands and a power complex

Re-posting your prediction may have been fine had you not brought up two old Eboue posts.
The Villa thread was the third you'd reserrected.

There are several thread today about last nights game and on certain players. You could have easily said you 'bit' in one of those.

:)

what :?:

are you for real, there is enough crap threads without old ones been resurrected,

and dont be a fuckhead by saying stupid things like power complex , you dont like it then there are plenty of other forums to join and clog up the first page with old threads :awnker:

Whats up with commenting on old posts? Can we have some clarification as to when a post is deemed too old to be commented on? Sorry if this has already been discussed in an old thread

Just common sense, Mutley.

Why drag an old thread up to make a comment about Eboue's performance last night, when there is already a thread on the Villarreal game AND ALSO a thread entitled "Eboue is a great Right Back" which discusses his performance in the same game.

Did we need another thread about Eboue? I don't think so.

So, it's not about whether the thread is old or new.... I'm sure if HighburyJD had started a NEW thread about Eboue, it would have been locked, too.

It just wasn't necessary.

In fact, he actually dragged TWO old Eboue thread's up and made similar Eboue related comments on both of them...

Again, why?? :?

glad its not only me so,

thing is mutley there is times when an old thread is fine if it is relevant, highburyjd said he couldn't read the first page and then bumped an old thread which is fine but then he done the same to 2 others for no apparent reason but too annoy which was really acting the bollocks and as the posts above have implied there was no need when there was already threads for said subjects.

no one wants this place to get too pc or mod rule but sometimes a little common sense can go along way

if anyone wants to make a point along the 'i was right all along' lines - simply post in the current threads and on your message put a link to the old one. that would seem a decent solution?

I gave up trying to use Chrome. It really doesn't like the Forum. Its something to do with the colours. If you highlight the page you can make some stuff out.

Couldn't we just make an "I was right" sticky? And then whoever wanted to gloat about some prediction they made weeks or months before could just add it to that.

Of course it would be mainly full of posts from me as I'm rarely wrong, but still....
