Dear Fellow Gooners,

Could I please ask you to take 5 minutes of your time and have a read of this, as it has huge significance and implications for the health of each of us, and our children. And if you feel you would like to, could you add your name to this Very Important petition regarding: Codex Alimentairus

Some of you will be familiar with this, for others you may not
be aware of what parliament is about to do in your name. Codex
Alimentairus is a law designed to hand over the control of natural
remedies to the pharmaceutical giants.

One more attempt to regulate us - with potentially dire consequences.
Unless we take this last opportunity and act now we will not be able to buy vitamins or health/nutritional supplements without a doctor's prescription - they will be banned from 31st December 2009.

You may think this can't happen, you may think why haven't I heard
about this before. The reason is that there are vested interests,
giant multinational pharmaceutical companies, and its not in their
interest that you know about and oppose this. They and our lawmakers
in Europe are banking on public apathy. Despite considerable pressure
already exerted our government is still planning to implement this law
- UNLESS THERE IS MASSIVE OPPOSITION IT WILL GO AHEAD.

Like many health and safety matters this was started with good
intentions, in 1962 by the United Nations, to establish international
free trade foods and protect those in third world countries from being exploited, but it now has become a major threat to our civil liberties
and freedom of choice.

As the song says: YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'VE GOT TILL ITS GONE

So should you feel this law to be not in the publics best interests please, sign the petition to the Prime Minister . . It takes 10 seconds! This is for our health, and well-being and the health and well-being of our children. Please click on this link below ...

on facebook and you'll see that the threat is very real and opposition
is from people from all walks of life, in many countries.

Done, OBG, I think it's taking the right piss, they've probably found out that there's alot more tax and money that they can rake in this way, that they can either pocket for theirselves or fritter away like they normally do.

Next, it will be tax on the bleeding air that we breathe...

Nice one frank...yeah they'll soon have those Oxygen kiosks in London and other City's - like they do in Tokyo - where you pay £1 or equivalent for 30 seconds of Clean Air

Apparently its a conspiracy to kill 3 billion people, and has been exposed by the bloke who leads the "truth about 9/11" stuff in the UK.

The next time someone wants to buy a bottle of Multi-Vitamins etc..rather than go in the local health shop etc - They'll have to book a appointment to see the quack...and then he/she will probably recommend a particular brand that will have connections with the hierarchy in the BMA.

Codex Alimentairus

This petition along with other (non-online ones) has been going on for some time.....even though there are many petitions all about the same thing....the government seem determined to make Westernised Medicine and Treatments the overriding preference.....and of course if big brother wants something to happen there's a good chance it will regardless of what the British Public may say or want !


My missus is a Acupuncturist and Herbalist

And I know only too well that Codex Alimentairus is sadly Very Real

The thing is that what are termed The Western Medical Systems (your usual GP , Hospital approach to healing etc - Anti-Biotics, Surgery and so forth)...wield enormous power in the world, and as much as other systems of healing have been proven to work, it is still the British Medical Association, and all the other equivalent bodies in America, Europe etc that dictate what is 'considered' successful as a system of healing, or procedure of treatment...

I know of many people who have suffered with all kinds of Chronic 'problems' - and after lengthy unsuccessful treatments via drugs, anti-biotics and even surgery...they have found a cure/answer to their particular ailments in Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Herbalism, even Hands On Healing - whether for back problems or even loss of sight.....

So I support any means by which a person can get a successful treatment for whatever ails them.....

I'm also aware that there are numerous charletons out there...who unfortunatley give a bad name for all other genuine alternative health practitioners.... but having witnessed first hand how successful Alternative Healing Systems can be.... I am just trying to make it known....that this act will soon be enforced.....

what others think of that or choose to or not do is entirely their own affair...
