my 1st away game....

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm going. To be honest the atmosphere is a load of cliched bollocks. Good day out though 8)

Only time I was in anfield was for the Ireland v Holland play off for euro 96 (big jack's last game in charge) and it was a brilliant atmosphere that night though shame about the result :(

Only away game I was really at was the bolton game last season where a tour company over here ran 50+ buses over to the game and we had the whole lower section of the stand underneath the travelling Gooner Army 8) It was a good day out too :barscarf:

Cant really count it I suppose but I was at villa pk for the cup semi replay v the mancs a few years back (the day Bergkamp missed penno and sheepshagger from wales scored that so called wonder goal  ). I was in a corporate box right over the manc fans and it was just as well it was enclosed or I would really have pissed down on the *word censored* at the end

First away game was also my first game. At Selhurst Park (forget if it was Palace or Wimbledon, guessing Palace) in a 0-0 draw. Was still terraced back them, not a clue on the year though.

My first away game was 'Boro at Ayresome Park in '93. Lost 1-0, John Hendrie :(

I think I've been to Anfield to watch us 7 times... lost all of them apart from a 0-0 in '99. :( (I remember seeing Fowler score the fastest Premiership hattick in 3mins+ in a 3-0 defeat, and Suker missing a penalty in a 4-0 defeat) - It's my bogey ground :(
