Karnivool - Sound Awake
Has to be in any list of 2009's top albums.

Don't know if any of you read Rock Sound Magazine...but they just put out their top 75 Albums of 2009.
Their top 10 was as follows:
1. MASTODON, 'Crack the Skye'
2. CONVERGE 'Axe To Fall'
3. BIFFY CLYRO ' Only Revolutions'
4. PARAMORE 'Brand New Eyes'
5. BARONESS 'Blue Record'
6. AND SO I WATCH YOU FROM AFAR 'And So I Watch You From Afar'
7. THE GHOST OF A THOUSAND 'New Hopes, New Demonstrations'
8. KYLESA, 'Static Tensions'
9. FUTURE OF THE LEFT 'Travels With Myself And Another'
10. MARIACHI EL BRONX, 'El Bronx'
Some notable others, which probably should have been higher...

To be honest I haven't listened to most of that top 10. Baroness and Paramore are both playing a festival I'll be attending here in February.

The Unthanks - Here's The Tender Coming
