I appreciate that ITV would rather show repeats of Poirot than Arsenal but for those of you with Sky HD here is are the steps to receive ITV HD (usually only available on FreeSat).

Cheers mate, you're a legend!
I've been pulling my hair out searching for a way to get ITV1 HD on my Sky Digital.

I even contemplated buying a Freesat HD box from Argos for £59.99

, as I thought it was the only way to get it.

I'm glad now I decided against it!
Thanks again! You've saved me a few £ as I think I probably would've brought a Freesat HD box to watch the World Cup on if you hadn't of pulled this out of the top drawer!

You're welcome mate. I've tried it and I get this test screen so it should work ok!

I did this last night and it works. I can't imagine I'll hardly ever watch it but at least I now know it is there.

When I was at this year's Superbash with my mate we were standing in front of the guy who used to present the 5 coverage with Carlson a few years ago, Colin Murray. Well he didn't stay there very long after my pal went over to him and had a word in his ear (God knows what he said we were too pissed to recall later) he moved to the other end of the Indig02 to get away from us.
Carlson I like cos at 2am if it was just a regular game with normal presentation I'd be well off to sleep. With a bit of entertainment I can stay up till 5am, grab 3 hours sleep and still make it to work.
Sky's coverage is just complete *****. I can't stand it.

Each to their own mate but I much prefer cadle and hallings who individually have their faults but as a double act I enjoy watching a game with them

I know that it is all about the money but sky gavethe nfl, what was classed as a minority sport at the time, massive exposure across the uk and Ireland and have def played a huge part in the growth of the game over here

That said I am gutted that the red button games and the monday night games along with total access have gone this season but am not sure if the blame lies with the nfl, nfluk or sky but it is shoddy treatment of nfl fans over here

Oh it's definatly Sky and Five at fault. Monday night football packages just weren't picked up by anyone over here as the viewing figures over the last few years made it financially, well a bit of an injured arsenal players new contract. Too much money to shell out when nobody's watching. Anyone of the networks could pick it up right now if they wanted. Total access went due to the advertising laws in this country being infringed, too many I guess.
I am grateful to Sky for what they've done in getting the game on our screens but that Halling and his Steeler fixation, coupled with his permanent anti-Colt stance really bug the living shit out of me.

Feel bad for you guys. We have pretty good pundits and announcers here for the NFL games. Me and my roommates started buying a package on directv last season where they show every game. It's amazing, and it even has a seperate channel called "redzone" everytime a team is in the 20yd line it tunes it into that specific game. It's awesome
