As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
we have to win, utd will be on a high after the derby result and rooney on fire
chelsea dont look like a team that will drop to many points so now more important then ever that we try and keep the pressure on.
It's all about the monkey faced grannie rapist this one. We keep that crunt quiet then I fancy us for a 2-1 win but if we let that fucktard run the game up front we will pay. As much as I despise the chav geebag he is in the form of his life at the moment...
The fact we're actually in some sort of contention in the league when we're basically a team where if the midfielders don't score (mainly Cesc) we don't win is nothing short of a miracle. No fucking strikers?????
In the second half of the season - since 2005 / 2006 season, we have played Man Ure, Chelsea and L'Pool 22 times in all competitions.
Our record stands at
Won 4, Drawn 6, Lost 12
3 of those victories were against Pool (2 in 4 days in Jan 07) and the other was the 2-1 win against ManUre in Jan 07. We haven't beaten the Chavs after Christmas in those 5 years.
We need to make a huge improvement on that over the next 2 weeks as ManUre and Chavs seem to know exactly how to approach big games against us at "squeaky bum time".
If we're top on Feb 11th I'll start to believe that we can stick League Title no. 14 in the trophy cabinet. Sadly I think we're going to see a repeat of 2008.
I remember Bender's performance in the ManUre game last May.
Champions League semi final, 2nd leg - chance to land the biggest trophy in club football. As I recall we were well and truly stuffed by our biggest rivals but Nicky Boy put in a sterling performance. He expertly quaffed 2 bottles of Cristal champagne, a couple of Vodka / Red Bulls and then suffered a slight wardrobe malfunction, poor lad.
Whilst we were all struggling to get home on a cramped tube train, Super Super Nick was lashing out thousands in China White and then rolling out at 4am with his strides round his ankles.
Top man - clearly got his priorities well sorted!!
Hope he's got a clean pair of skiddies for Sunday night
