Aaron Ramsey Banner

Aaron Ramsey Banner

Post by alanalansunderland »

REDaction have got some quotes etc for some banners for Aaron.

I picked up on the knee slide picture and everyone we have spoken to has agreed its a fantastic image.

We are looking at getting something that can be hung down from club section over the lower tier before the match and at half time etc.

We are also looking at some banners with maybe just a plain message on them to go over the advertising hoardings between the levels.

If you want to produce your own banners to go over the hoardings then the maximum depth is 1 metre as far as stadium management are concerned.

If anyone wants to donate to the cost of the banner / s we will let you know how later in the week.

Hoping to order today to ensure delivery by the weekend.

VTH

Looking forward to seeing this, and got my donation ready for when the details are released.

All the best Aaron and well done to everyone organising this banner.

I and thousands of other Gooners will support them on this but this was something that was being organised on here anyway and I think you will find that if redaction were making representations more often that are reflective of the vast majority of fans feelings then they would get more support but no need to cover old ground on this again

Alan, i'd be happy to send you the knee slide image I used for the mockup in the other thread. Let me know an e-mail address I can drop it to if you're interested.

Unfortunately it's not particularly hi-res (800x600 i think) but it should look OK from a distance when blown up...

In no way are we trying to steal anyones thunder here.

It's more a case of 'great minds think alike' :D

And that we really liked the image that was suggested on one of the original threads.

As Augie says no point in going over old ground re listening or not listening.

This is the time for ALL to pull together to do something ALL are agreed on.

Well, it is a matter of opinion what are 'reflective of the vast majority of fans' if nobody actually gives REDaction any positive ideas instead of 'dont do this / thats a shit idea' etc.

the majority of us are in favour of redaction and wish them well and so want them to be successful in making the grove a nosier and more hostile place for teams to come too . its just they don't do themselves any favours with the arselicking up to the club on things most don't care about, the anti usmanov banners that just happened to be left hang in the ground{ well done mr chairman:roll: ] the silly march which isn't very produtive to creating an atmosphere inside the ground , and silly stuff like that,
anyway its time to get behind our team and the banner for ramsey is a great idea,

OK great; it just gets a bit soul destroying on here seeing all the negative comments week after week and little or no new, practical ideas. I saw one comment on here last week saying REDaction should lobby the club to get real ale on sale inside the ground. I mean, honestly ; give me strength.
