My first game was against Notts County in the FAcup 3rd round in 1979 the year we went on to win the cup. Think we won 3-0 or 3-1. I was 8 and went with my dad and brother. We sat in the West stand i think and i remember climbing the stairs and getting my first view of the ground and pitch took my breath away. Still have the programme too.

First game was Arsenal Rangers Nigel Winterburn testimonal which i don't remember much off sadly
First 'real' match was Liverpool in 1997 which we lost 1-0 thanks to a Steve McManaman strike which wonderful, i remember it being a night game & falling asleep which i was with my Dad in the sit that was always empty which the last season at Highbury was me looking for a seat each match lol & most of the time sitting there lol
I also remember something that sticks to me very well with a streaker running onto the field which i still think it's a classic, more go please

Seen Big Match footage of that with Brian Moore commentary, it's on a few compo vids. Must have been a great initiation that one.

My 1st was Arsenal v Oxford in November 1985, a week after Arsenal lost 6-1 to Everton (something I remind people of when they accuse me of glory hunting. Fairly average game with Davis and Woodcock scoring. Rather ironic that on the same day Highbury disappeared in 2006 so to did Oxford out fo the league.

1st North Bank game was West Ham in March 1986 in their near championship season. We won 1-0 with a Tony Woodcock goal

My first game was a dreary 0-0 draw against Sheffield Utd in the league cup at Highbury in 1971, sat with my dad in the West Stand, it was'nt long before I was back with my mates and standing on the North Bank. I remember your first game very well, I was there myself, fights all over the place, before during and after the game. As an Essex boy, we had to travel home after with thousands of the bastards and I remember having to pretend to be badly pissed off on the tube and train or risk a severe beating. Fortunately we managed to avoid our west am supporting mates who probably would have given the game away

87-88, Arsenal v Newcastle. 1-1 Around 24000 attendance. Gascoigne missed penalty, Perry Groves put us 1-0 up and Paul Goddard equalised for Newcastle. No problems with getting tickets!

it was a 2-2 draw v WBA.

The gunners were losing 2-0 with 10 mins to go,so we left(must have been tired jet lag)

but one way home in car we got 2 goals back think it was Alan Sunderland that got them

0-0 against Derby around March 77. Glad to see I'm not the only 0-0 on here. I don't think we'll get the same scoreline this season.
