Tours from Ireland

Any of you Irish lot ever go on one of these? I'm really talking about 1 company in particular who have one at the moment to Wigan away (I won't mention the company name, you probably know who I mean).

It's reasonably priced but the amount of travel looks like a killer, leaving Dublin at 5-6am, overnight in Manchester (Sat), bus to game and back to boat. Not back in Dublin until some crazy time Sunday night!

Question is are they worth it bearing in mind I live about an hour and a half drive from Dublin? Is it possible get a train from say Wigan to Liverpool then fly home without the tour?

Wouldn't go near one myself, you never know what sort of group you will end up travelling with. And you can always guarantee there will be at least one asshole in your party. Aah did you just say Augie was going? well there you go

I heard they are using the slogan 'guarenteed Sid-free travel' to combat the above problem

This one is an overnight in Manchester on the Saturday which is sound only problem for me is that it doesn't get back to Dublin til 5.45 Monday morning and I'd still have an hour and a half drive on front of me

It'd be ideal if the game was moved back to Saturday, that way I could get an earlier flight back on the Sunday.

Make sure your in the away section. I went to a Hammers - Wigan game there on a school tour and the wigan end is full of scum. All they sing is you are my sunshine :awnker:
