Does anyone use this forum in Google Chrome?
The forumdisplay page is all red (ie,red text on red background) and you need to highlight the text to read it. Is there any way round this?

I have firefox on my personal laptop, but it runs really slowly on my work one (no idea why!). The forum also looks crap on my phone (which runs Android... which presumably uses Chrome)

I don't have a problem with firefox, Digger, the forum, on my phone is also displayed crappily, but I haven't a clue why that is. You may need to pm Rob on this mate.

I know other members have problems also using this forum with Google Chrome, I used this browser yesterday from an Internet cafe in the West End, and the forum just presented itself all over the show.

Same thing happens in Safari on Mac and iPhone, I have Firefox set up just to look at the forum!
It's a problem with the css stylesheet I think, something red is overriding something that is white.

i use chrome, and it is fucked up as you say. i like it because when there's people around the screen is all red

and then when the boss gets away i just select the text.
however, the quoting thing gets a little screwed up as well

If I could make one change to this place I'd change it so it would work on the iPhone. You can't see the names of the threads so you just have to touch randomly at the sreen and see what thread you get. A lucky dip of sorts!!

Maybe we should start again with valid CSS. I wonder if the issue is to do with the warnings at
http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/vali ... =1&lang=en
Seems the site has been hacked together

- I'm happy to help out if admin needs.
Ah well, there goes my cool image.

I think they were going to upgrade it to phpbb3 which (should?) sort the problem out. Every other forum I use looks ok on Chrome and on my Android

I'm not very computer savy but from your point I take it that Chrome is the Ashley Cole of operating systems.

In defence of Chrome it is useful when trying to buy tickets online, its far faster than IE. I've found the little red bar moves faster with chrome & safari than with IE.
I thought this was tosh, but since I changed I seem to access the ticket section much faster
