Re: Wenger - Shut the Fuck Up!
Has he really suggested that the clown is mentally strong ? If that's true the guy really does need to be sectioned.frankbutcher wrote:Stop your fucking c@untish ramblings..

I don't think I've ever seen a more mentally frail member of the Arsenal squad in 30 years. Every time he comes on the field he looks shot to pieces and after another 90 minutes of costing us the game with a succession of howlers he leaves the field on his own with his head in his hands looking lost.
Watch again today from set plays when the Blackburn big boys come calling.....yes, no, maybe, fuck it I'll just stand here and flap my arms around some more
Re: Wenger - Shut the Fuck Up!
I can see him having an absolute mare today, Wenger neglected to mention that the useless fucker didn't have a single thing to do against Citeh, when talking the fucker up after the game. Pair of wankers.SteveO 35 wrote:Has he really suggested that the clown is mentally strong ? Re: Wenger - Shut the Fuck Up!
Absolutely - a cardboard cut out could have kept a clean sheet in that game. Today against Nzonzi, Samba and co with Dunn and Pedersen swinging in corners and crosses watch for our Polish air traffic controller waving those arms around.goonersid wrote:I can see him having an absolute mare today, Wenger neglected to mention that the useless fucker didn't have a single thing to do against Citeh, when talking the fucker up after the game. Do Paddy Power do specials on the number of goalkeeping howlers per game ?
OMFG - I have just read the article. This is even more worrying now.....a quite amazing set of comments
Wenger - It was right for Fabianski to play
Arsène Wenger says he was right to stick by Lukasz Fabianski for the Manchester City game - because it allowed the Pole to put his Wigan woes behind him.
Fabianski was at fault for Wigan's equaliser at the DW Stadium two weeks ago but bounced back to keep a clean sheet against Roberto Mancini's team. The 25-year-old didn't have a lot to do last weekend but he made a few smart saves and his handling was assured throughout.
Wenger confirmed at his pre-match press conference that Fabianski would continue in goal against Blackburn on Monday and praised the Pole for his response to that Wigan set-back.
"I believe it was a good reaction and that's what you look for," said Wenger.
"The Wigan game was such a massive disappointment that you think it might be 'make or break' in the next game. Do you expose him by playing? Is it better not to play him to give him time to recover? I think it's always better to play straight away.
"He still has to show that he can be consistent. I know he has the talent and he has shown against Man City that he is mentally strong and that he can respond. Now the next target is for him to show that he can be consistent."
The injured Manuel Almunia has also come in for criticism this season and, predictably, Wenger has been linked with a number of keepers with the transfer window on the horizon. But Wenger insists a new keeper is not necessarily on his shopping list.
"Let people think and let me do," he said. "But it isn't an area that I necessarily want to strengthen. I don't want to come out before the season is finished and say what areas we want to strengthen

If we don't buy a new keeper this will be the final straw I think. I have always supported him but this would take his stubborness and his levels of deludment to a whole new level.SteveO 35 wrote:OMFG - I have just read the article. This is even more worrying now.....a quite amazing set of comments

Seaman had poor final season with us but nowhere near the levels of Almunia and Fabianski, he still managed to pull off the greatest save of all time in his final year but he was shipped out and replaced quite rightly after many years of fantastic service.
Richard Wright was the English Fabianski and he left after a season, Lehmann had a couple of poor games at the start of 07/08 and rarely played for us afterwards. Will someone please tell me how the situation with the two keepers at the moment are any differant, in fact it's worse!
Exactly - we could forgive Seaman one and a half bad seasons on the back of a decade of being the most consistent English keeper around. Wright was exposed and shipped out and his subsequent fall from grace proves that the GIC was right to do so. Lehmann was an international class keeper that were it not for Oliver Kahn would have made nigh on 100 appearances for Germany. This Is The Daybreak wrote:If we don't buy a new keeper this will be the final straw I think. And the three we have now. A 30 year old without a squad appearance for his country, a mid-twenties buffoon incapable of catching a cold and a 3rd rate Italian who couldn't even make a mark at Barnsley
In many ways I'm hoping that the GIC persists with his stubborn approach to GKs because I sense that it is the most emotive discussion point on here, and that many prepared to give him one more year will be tempted to see otherwise if he leaves us in the shit with the Three Stooges again
I fucking hate Wenger.SteveO 35 wrote:OMFG - I have just read the article. This is even more worrying now.....a quite amazing set of comments

Wenger has been a hero for the early years, he will leave this club a figure of hate for the majority because he is too stupid and/or stubborn to admit HE has fucked up seriously by bringing together a squad of mediocrity.
Please Arsene, announce you will not be signing a new contract and that you're leaving Arsenal at the end of the season. We could put Steve Bould in charge and he would do better than you next season because he would address the defensive issues we have.
