I've been here 3 years yet ....

I've only just noticed that there are small yellow boxes next to each thread which indicate that there is a new/unread post on there!!! 
The thing is I generally end up reading a post then, for time-saving purposes, hit the 'go back' button to return me to the main page of that section. It's only after going through a few threads that I then hit the 'back to Arsenal Chat/Basement/For Sale' button and thus see any new posts.
However, that means that some threads will still have the yellow box showing - even if I have seen all the posts already. I've discovered that the yellow boxes only disappear once you return to the main page of the section after reading the last post of the thread. And they told me my observation skills wouldn't be affected by smoking cannabis. 
Now I know some of you are thinking what is the point of this thread, but I can tell you that the knowledge I've just acquired will save me ( and possibly you) loads of time in the long run because once I log off and then back on again later, instead of trying to remember which thread or post was the last I had read and reading some of them again, I can just look at which threads have the yellow boxes.
Anyway, that fecking Diaby fellow ...........
