Just sitting watching my son play PES10 on the xbox and they have a position called side-back WTF?????

so Clichy and Sanga are now sidebacks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feckin Japs make that game and they haven't a clue. Quality game still mind.

I think the concept of 'sides' doesn't appeal to PES.

They have side midfielders aswell?????

Yeah its a Japanese game, they have all weird positions. I prefer Fifa.

Lets be serious here, Pes is absolutely brilliant. Iv been playin since 2003 and its no doubt the best football game there is out there imo. Fifa ofcourse is more famous, it is fully licensed and all yes. But i would play pes anyday, i really could not be less bothered by the kits not being accurate or the names of the german players not being correct. Its all about gameplay.

The above is solely for the ps2 though.

I used to be the biggest PES fan. But when they start making it where it sounds like a drum every time a player touches the ball, and one player i.e messi can take on a whole team without getting tackled it gets stupid. Plus when they score they run into the net which is annoying.

Bring back Matchday on the Spectrum!!!! Never had those problems on that game

No, its not anymore before it used to just be about kits and names but now Fifa game play is better and everything else is better about the game. People that buy PES year in year out are being mugged off by Konami, nothing changes from year to year apart from a few graphics or moves.
