guys, i want to buy some lenses for my camera and i'm not sure if it's better to buy here in brazil or when i'm in europe. can you recommend me any website of a retail store in london with prices for me to compare?? is it cheaper in other countries like germany?

I would have thought that anywhere apart from the U.K. would be cheaper, however, B.G., if you want to shop in the U.K. via the web, try this website, (I think you'll get the address of the particular website, if you need to visit it on the street level)

cheers, frank! hmm, i only thought of the UK because it's where i'm gonna spend most of the time in my trip (and also where i'll start).
from that website you gave me and the store flash posted i can tell you that prices in brazil are 20-30% higher, so it might turn out interesting for me to wait and buy it in the trip...

well ive been to america and the prices of all the stuff was of a similar price to here..Dunno if this helps though

cheers gnuey, that's what i'm finding out... it seems that england is very close to the US in terms of prices (cameras and accessories), only slightly more expensive. brazil is a LOT more expensive.

look Brazz"y..ive even looked for lenses on ebay and there aint much difference there either.
Look mate..as you know i love taking pics but i also like taking a video and i can do it from one of my cameras..But..may i suggest investing in one of these...Its a kodak ZI6 video camera and you can get it for £85 on amazon.
Its really good for a low budget video.
