I'll be in New York next week when we're playing Blackburn away (7.45am kick off local time). Anyone know the best pub to head for?
I've given up on going to see Thierry in the evening match, but think I might get away with leaving the missus in bed and popping out for the Arsenal.

Never been there, but I'm sure there's a gooner bar called Nevada Joes or something?

Do a search MKG, I think there are 100's of threads with similar questions about New York.
All the questions relate to watching Arsenal in the middle of the night though, so if you're looking for advice about strip-joints...

Yes....I have occasionally used a search engine

!
I was hoping that one of you might have first hand experience..... Everything I've read seems to point to that Nevada place (for all teams!), but maybe there is somewhere frequented by ex-pat gooners?
Happy to meet up with US Martin - although America is quite....large....and no guarantee that he just happens to live near Times Square! Have to come to agreement though that conversation won't stray towards his feelings on the Board.....

It could be a most riveting and interesting meet up that...

Sorry, I'm already board!
No boss, No director and no colleague! Which means, apart from those in front of me NO-ONE can see what I'm doing!
Being on here typing makes me look like I'm sending an email or something.
Right, I fortunatley copied Sherlock holmes (the movie) and Shutter Island on to my USB. Not watch them yet so might dip into them later.

I have just been on holiday and found a bar called Times Square that showed all Premier League games.
This New York theme bar however is in Spain so I am not sure if this helps?

I'm in NY the weekend we play Chavski away. Nevada Smiths on 3rd Avenue is the main place for Premier League games I hear so i'll be popping in there for the match. New York Gooners tend to split themselves between there and The Blind Pig which is just around the corner from Nevada's on East 14th St. From what i've heard though Nevada's sounds the better of the two options....
Got tickets for the Red Bulls game on the Saturday evening, looking forward to hopefully seeing Thierry one more time

I know the owner of Nevada Smith's so let them know you know me and they will sort you out.
