Looks like Timothy Bradley will meet Devon Alexander for a light-welterweight unification bout.

A mouthwatering fight for the fans, I reckon Bradley is too fast, too sharp, too hard a body puncher for Alexander, and will win on points.

Just hope the winner takes on Amir Khan.

I think this would be a very interesting fight and agree with you Quartz that Bradley would take it on points. Wasnt impressed with Alexander against Kotelnik, think Khan would be too fast for both these guys.

Bad news on the Super 6....Kessler has had to pull out with eye injury.

Yeah heard that on FiveLive.

In ideal world Bute can take his place, but because of rivalry between stateside TV networks think it might be Robert Stieglitz or Jesse Brinkley who does.

Any of the three would be acceptable.

Agreed with that, my only worry with Khan is his chin. He's on a break at the moment because of ramadan, right? Rumours going round he may fight Marquez in the autumn?

Khan is rumoured to be looking at Marquez, but Marquez is desperate to fight Pacquiao again so not sure he would want to go in with a big puncher like Khan?
Maybe Khan will fight Ortiz next?

I think Khan beats Alexander, but right now Bradley too good all round for Khan.

Allan Green is now out of Super-Six.

So it leaves Froch, Abraham, Ward and Dirrell to fight it out.

Just hope winner of Super Six gets to fight Bute, or else it leaves question as to who is best in the division.

http://www.livefight.com/news.php?news_ ... =2010&m=08

"Following reports earlier today that current WBC champion Mikkel Kessler's decision to retire from the Super Six with an eye injury, it almost immediately raised questions as to Allan Green's involvement in the series going forward.

Those questions were seemingly put to bed today by Green's promoter Lou Dibella, who indicated that his charge would be looking to continue on Showtime, but not within the Super Six format.

“First and foremost, I want to wish Mikkel Kessler a speedy recovery. Eye injuries are very serious, and I hope Mikkel does everything necessary to heal up and continue his career as the appropriate time." Said Dibella in an official statement.

"Obviously, all of Team Green is bitterly disappointed about not getting the opportunity to travel to Denmark for this great challenge. It is hard not to feel for Allan Green; this is the third training camp in the last year that he has had interrupted for various reasons beyond his control. In the coming days we will sit down with [Showtime Senior Vice President] Ken Hershman to discuss Allan’s future. We trust that Showtime will provide Allan with the opportunity to showcase his skills in a meaningful fight versus a world class opponent in the very near future.â€

January 29th is the fight vs Alexander.

Bradley is up for it, then he wants Khan, and I have to say I think he can beat him.

It is hotting up....I go on about this fight which for me this is one of the highest level match ups in years...two guys who are genuinely talented and well conditioned meeting for a World Championship Unification fight.

Devon Alexander ‘The Great’ Training Camp Notes

Part 1

Camp Location: I am training in Las Vegas for this fight. While I have trained here before when I fought out of the Cory Spinks camp, for my last two fights my promoter, Don King, allowed me to live in the home where Mike Tyson lived when he trained in Vegas. I love it. It gives me inspiration to know I’m sleeping in the same bed “Ironâ€

Should be a cracking fight. Its a pity they didnt do a 24 7 for this as I love that show and its always a great build up to fights.

Gunna stick with my original prediction that bradley will take it on points. But Alexander is so strong. Cant wait!!!!

Heard it was a poor fight, seen a bit of Bradley in the past and I think Amir's size, speed and strength will get him over the line if he fights Bradley, hopefully it will happen in the summer

Thought it was right decision.

Khan's speed will get him more scoring points than Alexander's did, but I can see Bradley edging Khan.
