who would want to be a Pakistani at the moment
half the country is under water, and no one gives a shite, and now the cricket team is full of money grabbing cheats
maybe they should send they illegal gains back to there own people who need it
they should be grateful, that it wasn't a little old Pakistani lady who threw that cat in to the wheelie bin

Agree ****, was talking to my mate last night, and both agreed thay should be turfed out of test cricket, there are other emerging cricketing countries who deserve a chance in what is a cricketing cartel.

I wouldn't agree on fully turfing them out but at least ban the captain Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif. I don't kno why on earth the 18 year-old kid Amir got involved, he may have been forced into it by one of his colleagues so I'll reserve judgement on that front. The only real emerging country that perhaps deserves promotion to the top level is probably your beloved Ireland Sid, but you're not getting Eoin Morgan back

There is far more to this than we know....
Pakistan is a very corrupt nation at present and remember they harbour terrorists and the Taliban backed.....
However, for me this is not clear cut.
Imagine that you get the call that says....."you do as we say or your family dies".
why is a promising 18 year old pace bowler involved? You can bet there is something sinister behind this and i believe the reason they are not going home is to an extent for their own safety.
Banning them IS NOT the answer to this as corruption will never go away in that part of the world. There is soooooo much more to this than just a few no balls coming at the times stated.....you can bet that someone is being seriously threatened.
I feel extremely sorry for the innocent Pakistan players and their fans who love the game. Banning them would be an absolute disaster for a nation that is already suffering immensely. What needs to be done is to find out why this is happening and who is involved. Its a very sad time for sport and cricket.
Watching Michael Holding yesterday after the test match had finished was awful too, that guy loves the game with a real passion and you could see how much he was hurting, they replaced him with Michael Atherton after the commerical break because he was so upset.
There is far more to this........lets just see what happens before we start banning players.

its terrible, cricket doesnt need this. pakistan dropping out would be disaster for the game when its trying to expand.
its not a cartel, the game is trying to be spread its just test staus isnt handed out willy nilly cos in the current set up the new teams wont develop and will remain shit like bangladesh.
im all for more test teams but needs to be 2 test divisions 1st, with ireland bangla, zim, kenya and maybe WI/NZ in div 2 plkaying each other regualrly and occasionally playing the big boys.
the thing i dont get is though, why is this betting so specific. if someone puts a shit load of cash on an no ball to be bowled as the 1st ball of a specific over, to bet on something so unpredictable would surely set alarm bells ringing with whichever illegal booky is taking the bet, so why would anyone take that on, as theyd realise the punter has inside info.
betting on there being a no ball in say the 10th over (rather than a specific ball of the 10th over) is less obviuos and less likely to be caught, why didnt they do that

You make comments like that but label people as racist who light-heartedly joke about Almunia being a waiter due to his nationality?
Really!
