On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you give a shit about....

....two of the so-called main sporting events of the moment. Just interested to see what makes all you fellow Gooners tick. Put my own marks next to them for starters.....

The Ryder Cup - 2

A cluster of nations playing against a single nation in a sport I might enjoy when I'm too old to enjoy proper sport. So fascinating Sky decided to show it in 3D. Must make sure I take a sick day on Monday just in case it gets extended

The Commonwealth Games - 4 (10 if on You Tube owing to infrastructure issues)

Watching Athletes thowing up in "the Village" or chasing snakes down the road might be fun, but apart from that surely the Athletics equivalent of the Johnstone Paint Trophy. I suspect Mr Hill Wood likes it though (chance to show those old Empire boys a thing or two old bean)

Ryder Cup: 9. But only because I have a bet on Europe. Otherwise, it's a 3.

Commonwealth Games: 0. Only heard about it when their sheds starting collapsing. Giving the games to a third-world country is ludicrous, and deserves everything it gets.

Ryder Cup= 0. Can I give a minus score?

Commonwealth Games= 5. I like watching all the different events and seeing the small countries take part in things.

Ryder cup - 10
Great to watch how guys adapt to a 'team' game after playing for themselves 99.99% of the time. Love it.

Commonwealth games - 0
Second rate competition. What is the point?

Can't believe you gave golf a 2 SteveO.

It's a shit sport played and watched by imbeciles, cretins and retards, all of whom wear appalling clothes and talk absolute bollocks in very loud voices.

I often walk my dog on a nearby golf course and some of the people that "play" golf really do have to be seen to be believed. Not one of them can talk anything other than total bollocks and they never talk at anything other than full volume. I thought golf couldn't get any worse - - - - but when the brash, loud-mouthed Americans get involved

 GET IN THE HOLE! F**king imbeciles.

Commonwealth Games? In Delhi?? Where Delhi Belly comes from???

I can't wait for the first athlete to shit themselves on the medal rostrum - uncontrollable diarrhoea just as they get the medal put round their neck. Now that would be worth watching.

Ryder Cup - 7, rising to an 8 or 9 tomorrow.

Commonwealth Games, gives smaller sports a chance to shine which is good to see. However with the shocking build up leading to many athletes pulling out I give it a 3.

Are you Indian/Australian then?

I find it weird that Sky will religiously show the likes of Pakistan/West Indies/Australia/South Africa etc playing Cricket against each other, yet wouldn't bother showing a decent looking international football match between non-home nations, unless it was in a world cup.
