RESIGN NOW
RESIGN NOW
This result today just shows that we have learn't nothing in the last 5 seasons, despite all Wenger's claims about our qualities and mental strength. All lies, just like Wenger's management a lie.
This is without doubt the most embarrassing defeat of Wenger's era, and I struggle to find a worse one in my lifetime.
This should be Wenger's last game as Arsenal manager, and I call on him now to resign, this is not a knee jerk reaction, merely final recognition that time is up for this arrogant lying man.

Said to my missus when it got pulled back to 2-1 that we will lose this game.

I felt really sorry for Thierry Henry. He was so passionate about beating Spuds, and on his DVD states just how much it means to him that he never lost to them in his time at Arsenal.
Fast forward to now, and you've got *word censored* like Sagna saying that 'It doesn't matter more if we beat Spuds' during the week, and a second-rate team throwing away a two-goal lead as if it doesn't really matter.
Fans say that foreigners can't understand the passion of a local rivalry, but TH14 (and his co-horts) proved that utterly wrong. We've just educated players from the Wenger academy the wrong way.
I'd be very happy if AW resigned tonight, as we've been treading water for the past five (maybe six) years.

Re: RESIGN NOW
Can you think of two words any more inappropriate than those. If he mentions that again I'll swear I'll run on the pitch and drench him with that fucking water bottle.....goonersid wrote:This result today just shows that we have learn't nothing in the last 5 seasons, despite all Wenger's claims about our qualities and mental strength. If they were the better team and won, then I can understand your request (not that I agree with it), but we were the better team, we got to more chances, we controlled the play. They were shit and they won, we were good and we lost. That's fucking football!
I'm gutted and sick, I am on the verge of tears and feel like throwing up, but FFS, any other day, we would have won 4-0, we didn't and we lost, but we're still 2 points from the top, and sp*rs are still a shite side.
Stop that bullshit, we'll find our home form soon, and we can make this season better than the last ones.

And yet, despite that, Tottenham were able to beat us. At home.DanielD wrote:If they were the better team and won, then I can understand your request (not that I agree with it), but we were the better team, we got to more chances, we controlled the play.
Surely that tells you there's something very, very wrong?

I couldnt be arsed going through why, but i disagree with everything you've said there.DanielD wrote:If they were the better team and won, then I can understand your request (not that I agree with it), but we were the better team, we got to more chances, we controlled the play. The sad truth is we are seemingly powerless to do anything about it, and there are those who will make excuses and accept those given by Wenger himself.
This reign will end eventually, though I fear by then we will be in an even far worse state than we are now.
There are no words to express the pain, anger and disgust we are all feeling right now. But those feelings will count for nothing if the fans turn up again next week and sing Wenger's name. He must be made to see how we feel, through banners and hear how we feel by calling for him to resign or by calling on the board to sack him.

I can't say I disagree, and why we stopped playing after the second goal, is beyond me, but 99% of the times we would have won this match and there wouldn't be no "Wenger out" threads like this. They got a cheeky chance and they scored, Fabregas with the stupidist penalty conceded ever, and another set play. That was all Sp*rs had to offer in this match, and they scored three.Bring Back Pires wrote:And yet, despite that, Tottenham were able to beat us. Firstly - i thought Denilson was one of our better performers today in a midfield that couldnt be bothered to work - Arhsvain, Song and Fabregas were well off the boil. If your going to blame players for a defeat fine, but Denilson was fine he worked hard and tried to make things happen - maybe it says it all that one of our "squad" players worked harder than "stars" like Arhsavin.
Anyway, Wenger WAS at fault today - Wilshire on the bench is fine, but dropped Johan was a mistake - as he was forging a good partnership with Squillaci. What annoyed me was the players came out second half like the game was won, and they didnt care, most of the blame goes to the attitude of the players - but some HAS to go to Wenger.
But all of you that think he is going to resign tonight - you can write 5 pages but it isnt going to happen so i wouldnt waste your time!! Im so annoyed ebcause we did the hard work at City, Everton and Wolves and play like a team of nobodies in a game any Arsenal player should feel passionate about.
Take That would have scored 3 past us second half.
