VILLA SATURDAY!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

VILLA SATURDAY!

Post by Percy Dalton »

Mr Charlie Charlie and Mr Percy Dalton are going to Villa on Saturday.

Which pub/s is best for away fans these days as it is years since I went to Brum?

Be nice to know who else is going too!

I'm heading up Percy, will be there around 11, Cap 'N' Gown (Witton Arms) is the usual Away Pub just outside the away end but charges a couple of quid on entry and I've heard bar service is shocking

See you there!

I will be the good looking guy standing with a bald person struggling to keep up with the drinking!

I'm at this, in the Villa end. Being a massive Pires fan (you may have guessed by the username), I decided that I'd go to his return game in English football - Crawley Town or otherwise. Just so happens that he signed for Villa, and we're up next, so it's a nice 'double' for me (the only double I'll be experiencing for the next couple of decades, anyway).

Plus, ticket was only £25. Just a shame it's in with the Villains. Still, I'm very good at holding back emotions (the counselling sessions are way overdue), so no problems with controlling myself - orgasming over Pires aside.

Haven't decided whether to drive or train it just yet. Train is £50 return, car is probably £25 fuel + £10 parking, so not entirely sure. May head into B'ham afterwards for some beer at the German Christmas Market. May as well make a day of it.

Amusingly, we could be top of the league if we win this one, but then we say that every week.

Prediction: 1-1 (or worse). AW, having sold Pires in his prime, and then refusing to bring him back this season, almost deserves having him score against us.

Really don't know how this will go, will "1st half" Arsenal show up or will it be "2nd half" Arsenal. A fucking lottery :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Back to work, the only way to follow up an embarrassing result is with a strong one so let's hope they show some fucking pride for once.

I suspect we'll see our magic #7 Robert Pires in action, I hope the away fans give him a loud reception - positive that is!

I honestly don't give a fuck, and if I thought a run of bad results would shift Wenger, then bring it on. 3-0 villa
