Definitely a West Ham / Millwall element to it.

Played football 20 odd years ago in the same division as a team run by someone called Andy Swallow from that neck of the woods, who was known to be a football hooligan and always had mates with dogs on the sidelines (and supposedly 'all tooled up') to try and intimidate the opposition. Not sure if it's the same fella but it sounds familiar.

I don't think it is West Ham / Millwall links. The fans are mostly West Ham for both sides.

Just think it is one of those things that happens - Tilbury is not the nicest place in the World :box: (being ultra polite so not to offend) and it was a local derby. Iam am just suprised the Grays manager (a certain Julian Dicks) didn't get involved.

On reflection you're probably right. I know Swallow was West Ham and thinking about it, Grays and Tilbury are in/near Essex and thus West Ham territory.
