was killed when he was struck by a van on his bike yesterday. Sad day for british boxing

Sad news was a decent boxer during his time, im pretty sure he was a Gooner too

Powerful boxer during a time when the domestic heavyweight scene was a lot more competitive than it is now.
Always scares me to cycle on the road in London.

RIP. My father played cricket against him nearly 20 years ago during a charity match and Mason was a really nice bloke. He had time to chat to everyone and signed loads of autographs for kids. Poor bloke, thoughts to his family.

I met him once too, he was in a hurry but stopped to chat to me and a friend when we said we were Boxing fans, had a photo taken with my mate too.
