What are you talking about? Eboue is refered to as a legend on here by people who accept and enjoy mediocrity, now alive or dead Eboue is not and never will be a legend where as Rocky was when he was alive and still is now he has passed. RIP a true Arsenal legendNever Outgunned wrote:Hold on, we're having a go at Eboue for not being Rocastle?flash gunner wrote:Those were the days!!! This was my Arsenal
Rocky top class bloke and true legend of Arsenal (not like that wanker Eboue)
He's not George Armstrong or Alan Ball either.
It's a pisser not being dead!

Wouldn't it be good to commemorate a past success or player without needlessly slagging off current players.flash gunner wrote:What are you talking about? Some on here have got a real unhealthy obsession with that.
And Eboue may not be the best player ever, but I wouldn't say he openly disrespects the club or the fans.
His performances and antics say that. A cheating *word censored* who doesn't track back as a DEFENDER. What a joke.Never Outgunned wrote:Wouldn't it be good to commemorate a past success or player without needlessly slagging off current players.flash gunner wrote:What are you talking about? David Rocastle vs Emmanuel Eboue!!!!!!!!
Oh my god there is only winner here full stop.
The latter is not fit to lace the boots of one of Arsenal greatest ever talents.
Rocastle was Arsenal thru and thru its why we loved him.
He fought for the badge
He fought for the colours
He fought for his team mates
And he never ever shirked his responsibilities
He was a true Arsenal fan and eptiomised everything great about that lovely little era of 1987-1992.
The goals the celebrations the punching of the fist.
David Rocastle is a legend to many Gooners as Nat Lofthouse is to Bolton fans.
How anyone can compare or mention Eboue in the same breath as Rocky is just damned right disgraceful.
No one needs to take the piss and i can say that really really pisses me off that its even being questioned.
DAVID ROCASTLE STILL TO THIS DAY BRINGS A TEAR TO MY EYE!
