As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Surely if the interview was in english it would be black and white. no misunderstanding.
Either do the interview in english or dont do it at all.
It was an interview for arsenal brazil not us.
I know that, but every interview done with an overseas newspaper or radio station creates these problems. It could honestly derail this all ready train wreck of a season.
I don't think anyone's blaming translation.
That's like asking David Beckham during his Real Madrid years to give interviews to English newspapers in Spanish

You've heard it here first, BG is the person to blame if we don't beat leads and ipswich.

So if Nasri is asked in France, to do an interview for the french media he must do it in English.

oi, I translated the fucking thing. he said exactly what i wrote there.
and it's in portuguese beacause it's an arsenal brazil interview for our brazilian arsenal supporters, and most of us don't speak english at all.
BG has said the translation is correct, Fabregas has said it was a misunderstanding. Whilst on this occasion i believe BG, i cant help to think if the interview was done in english we would know who to believe.
If Nasri is asked to do an interview in france, of course he will speak french, but just dont speak about complex issues regarding arsenal. Anything that can be misread will be.
just received an email from denilson's agent asking to remove the interview from our website. it seems he really spoke a bit more than he should have. a bit too late though, don't you think?
if i am responsible for denilson leaving arsenal, i want to receive a blojwob from everyone in this forum

Beckham struggles to speak english let alone spanish. I could only imagine what the Marcia would say

another nice solution would be if people from countries that speak english started learning other languages as well just like the rest of the world, don't you think?

And how did you conclude it was misunderstanding due to incorrect translation?

But the media will ask what they want!
Cesc, especially when on internation duty, the conversation will turn to Arsenal. Whether it be about difference between club and county or about playing in Europe or a leading question about he see Barcalona?

Unless my name is fabregas i didnt conclude anything. Good to see you read my post. Cesc wrote on his twitter that Abt what Deni said. I've been in his situation before, just a misunderstending. Now lets win tonite!
