Silence Before Matches

Just have to say you English (and most of Europe in general) are absolutely class when it comes to observing a proper silence, regardless of the cause.
I really don't think North Americans would be able to do it without some rowdy, drunken moron shouting something.

That's just The Conglomerates Stadium mate - it's always like that!

I remember a game at Highbury when there was a 1 minute silence, Merson was a sub and during silence someone shouted out "GET MERSON ON" in the loudest voice ive ever heard. Everyone started pissing themselves with laughter

) would have understood
