Anyone keen for an Online Gooner Grand National Sweepstake?

We could do it for charity. Fivers in per horse? I need the money up front though...

I think you've gotta be looking at an Irish horse in this years National, as was proved at Cheltenham the English handicapper has got the weights for Irish horses all wrong.

The Midnight Club to win, Bluesea Cracker to run into a place 8)

Win/win for me. A bit of extra cash if he wins, more work done if I'm banned

Seriously, I think he has a chance IF he jumps around. He was a long way behind The Midnight Club in the Bobby Jo Chase on level weights but is getting 9lbs off him on Sat. Not a massive difference but if he's improved a bit who knows?

Was thinking that as I typed my last reply. I always get a great giggle watching the staff of bookie shops on grand National day. Little old women arriving with a piece of paper with 9 or 10 horses written on it asking how to put varying amounts of money from 50c to €2 on the horses. The bit that cracks me up though is when they write the odds from the paper, say 50/1 and cannot understand why the horse is only 33/1
