Transfer Window Predictions (7/11)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Transfer Window Predictions (7/11)

Usual thread starter… if this writer wants to give odds of 2-1 on Mad jens departing in January, I’ll have some serious money on that. I cannot see Wenger keeping him at the club if he is just going to mope around. If he was willing to release Lauren last January, then he won’t be hanging onto a player he has absolutely no intention of playing. I don’t expect a name signing, but maybe a future prospect who could fill in if required – like Adebayor or Diaby. Came from nowhere, played a few matches, but earmarked for the future.

WE NEED A REALLY GOOD STRONG KEEPER BUT CANT SEE US BUYING ONE,,ALMUNIA WILL PROB STAY AS NUM 1 AND FABIANSKI TAKING OVER NEXT SEASON,,
AND THIS WILL COST US DEAR DURING THE REST OF THE SEASON :?

Robert Green is a good shot stopper, but he flaps like "Eddy the eagle" when it comes to crosses. We need to sign Jaaskelainen or Given imo. Jussi's contract is up in the summer and Given has fallen out of favour at Newcastle.
We'd be CRAZY to let Gilberto leave in January, because when Toure goes to the African Nations Gilberto will be slotted in at CB.
We have 2 forwards who can't stay healthy (RvP and Eduardo) so we need cover up front. I'd also like to see an out an out an out winger brought in.
