Chamakh?
What’s going on with Chamakh? Is he injured? Has Wenger lost faith in him? Has the story regarding him in Vegas coming up (if true?) fucked his mind up? Does he have a future with us?
Marseille are rumoured to be looking to get Chamakh on loan next year, what’s going on?

Thought he held the first half of our season together along with Sami.
Always gives 100% when gets a chance but has been given fuck all chances as of late - the manager of the decade sees fit to give Bentmember the nod out on the wing instead of him

Was going to start a similar thread myself. Thought Cham started well for us and gave us something different up front. Big difference between the French league and the PL and was knocked off the ball a bit too easy but I felt he would improve with time here. Then for some reason he seemed to fall out of favour with AW. I didn't recognise any serious dip in form and in the second half of the season he has cut a forlorn figure.
Even as a sub AW still prefers Barry on thw wing as oppsed to Cham in the middle. AW persits in playing sub standard fodder year after year so it's not as if he has no history of keeping faith with plaerys.
It's a real mystery.

This is a mystery...i thought he was doing pretty well, especially considering it was his first few months with us and in the prem.....
I'm guessing he is out of favour because he spent too much time mixing it in the middle....He should know by now a centre forward is supposed to spend most of his time out wide and cross the ball to an empty box, like our other centre forwards do...

we may disagree about his qualities, but he surely runs his socks off every game, so it surprised me not seeing more of chamakh by the end of the season.
it's clear to me that rvp is the obvious first choice, but wenger does not play him even we desperatly need a goal.
he was awesome in the first half of the season. without him and nasri our title chances would've been over a lot sooner than april

How could he be a big disappointment, he's hardly had a look in in the last few months....he may have had a few off games pre xmas but that is only to be expected being new to it all.
To be demoted down the pecking order to the extent he has is bewildering and certainly not deserved given his performances. Which were certainly no worse than and better in some cases than a number of other players who have been persevered with...

He's scored a couple of tap-ins and then gone quiet for ages (before his injury) I haven't seen him doing what he did at bordeaux and he can't compete physically with most top defences.
Bendy works harder and dare I say it has better control and more flair. Having said that I'd sell Bendy and keep the iraqi as I can see him hitting top form next season
