Haye v Klitschko

Anyone going out for this? I've thought about doing it, but seen the flight companies have jacked the prices up, anyone got a cheap way of getting to Hamburg? :?

I feel Haye has a good chance of winning, but needs to get inside Klitschko's jab and not let Klitschko control the fight from behind his jab. Thoughts? :barscarf:

fly to bremen on the thursday with ryan air and direct train to hamburg for €20, spend a couple nights on the reeperbahn and pray you're not in jail or deported by the time of the fight?

Haye will probably pepper Klitschko at will and keep his distance.

Only thing is, one punch from Klitschko and it is all over for Haye.

I think Haye on points.

not a chance id pay to go and see a heavyweight main event these days, especially abroad. people talk shit about boxing being dead, it isnt, the heavyweight division is. The lower weight classes are actually fucking amazing, welterweight, lightwelter, lightheavy, super middle, bantam, featherweight....bloody all of em have class class fighters. Its tv that has chosen not to show or promote these amazing fighters.....shit ive gone a bit of a rant there

Id love to see haye KO him. he can do it, on the counter using his speed he can catch anyone with a banger or a flurry of punches and it over. The question is, can he get through klitchsckos jab and close enough to pull it off. Fact is he has to be the aggressor, he has a massive reach disadvantage to is really relying on his speed and acuracy. Question is his chin, and experience too.

I really hope i wrong, but i dont think he'll win. And think wlad win win on points by scrapping the first 2 rounds then jab jab jab jab jab jab the rest of the fight. If haye is to win it'll be by ko, no way in my opinion haye can win on points, which is what gives me hope he'll pull it off in the middle rounds.

I hear you Bren, and most Boxing people agree with you that Wlad will destroy Haye.

But I think Haye can pepper Klitschko with bursts of punches and win on points. Very fast, move in, move out, slip under the jab.

Look forward to seeing it, and yes, Boxing has great match ups at all weights apart from heavyweight.
