I have just watched it,(Sky+),and generally it was good viewing.I didn't know much about Jimmy Murphy beforehand, but it seems that HE was the man who kept it all together after the plane crash. One thing did amaze me.In the film it was implied that part of the reason for the tradegy was the Football Leagues insistance that Man Utd would be docked points if they were not back in England 24 hours before their next league fixture. The film suggested that it was this factor that compelled the club to 1: charter a plane instead of using a scheduled flight, and 2; made them attempt take-offs that they would not have done otherwise. They even named the F.A. official,(Mr Hardacre),and portrayed him as some sort of pantomime villian.
Overall though,a good film.I just wondered if any of you watched, and what you thought of it.

So I assume that you don't watch anything unless it is about Arsenal.I watched it because I am interested in football.I also watched, and enjoyed "The Damned United." Back to "Fever Pitch",and "The Arsenal Stadium Mystery" then.

Alan Hardaker was also responsible for setting up the English League Cup.

clearly i'm missing something here, when was it acceptable to sing about tragedies in football we all like a bit of banter and a few near the knuckle chants between fans, but never really been a fan of these songs and before anyone jumps on the bandwagon you can't compare them calling Wenger a Paedo and a lot of young lads losing there lives in a plane crash
