Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton has become,(in my eyes),a bit of a wanker. He allowed Formula One,and various sponsors to use the fact that he is black,to promote his career and benefit his bank balance, and why not because sports like F.1. need to be bought into the 21st centiry. However,he is now "playing" the race card, and implying that he is being penalised in Grand Prix's because he "is black." He has therefore,(in my opinion),become a a bit of a *word censored*!!!

"maybe it because i'm black*laugh* that what ali g said *laugh*"
Saw the interview, it was clearly a joke.
Remind me if he ever did, but don't remember him using his skin colour to advance himself. He drives for MCLAREN and was at one point the youngest ever champion, who happens to be mixed race
It makes me question whether you actually think he is in that seat because he is black. And you fail to notice how much of a great driver he is.

He is a great driver, and it is also great that a notoriously "white" "rich" sport had a barrier broken down. But I think that it is wrong for him to have implied that he was being penalised because of his colour.Apparentlly he thinks that it was wrong too, because he apologised this morning,30th.Also,he was used as a role model,(quite rightly),to encourage other kids from ethnic origins to aspire to break down traditional barriers.P.S. Although he ia a great driver,he will never be as good as his,(and my),Formula One hero,Ayrton Senna!!!I was lucky enough to see him race at Silverstone in about 1992.

watch from 1min.

I think it was a joke. It was a very popular Ali G (who is white) joke, albeit in poor taste. He rightly apologised aswell.

Absolutely, and I will be happy if Lewis or Jenson win the title, but I think that it is already Vettels.

Even though he was joking, Hamilton has become an arrogant t**t who can't accept when things are his fault, shame as he is a superb driver as well. Hope he or Button can win the title this year, although it's unlikely at the moment.

His driving is entertaining, that what matters. His personality personality does not matter.

Aggression arrogance is good in sport.
ALL the great drivers have been arrogant and aggressive.

We complain about British sports stars not doing well, but we are the first to ridicule the ones that do very well mainly because of their arrogance and aggression.
From Rooney, Murray, Haye, now Lewis Hamilton

Goody to shoes PR machine tripe doesn't get you any where and its frankly boring.
F1 without LH would be shit and I suspect a lot of people have been drawn into the sport because of him

From an Arsenal perspective, i would hate to see Jack Wilshere aggression tamed, and if it weren't for Arsenal's PR machine, I suspect JW is a bit of a twat aswell. But would I ever dislike him ABSOLUTELY NOT!

If the "Fabregas WC Barca shirt" been reversed, the English players would have got a lot of stick from the British public. For being "arrogant, lack of sportsmanship, etc"

It wasn't because he is (a bit) black.....it's cos me is a gooner man!

More seriously, he makes F1 far more entertaining because he actually does what it says on the tin and races the car. He takes risks and sometimes they don't pay off. Monaco would be a very poor race if the only overtaking were done when someone entered the pits!
