I just clicked on that site.
The first place I went to was WWII defensive "pill boxes". There are thousands of them in various parts of the world.
War is a nasty thing. Just imagine if you were assigned to man one of those positions. And the opposing army were assaulting that position. You would be scared shitless. You would probably kill many men with the machine gun. And you would be killed yourself. Unless you were incrediblly lucky.
Thankfully, 99% of them were never put to the test.

Have you heard of 28dayslater.co.uk RT? Be warned, you will spend hours looking thorugh the pics if you visit that site, it's quality.
Playing darts, pool and snooker at various shithole clubs in Kent with mates is probably my favourite 'hobby' outside of football. High up the list is live comedy and watching Kent Cricket down at Canterbury in the summer.
