Serious question

Can you name one tangible benefit to Arsenal Football Club and the football team of the decision to borrow an additional 120 million GBP to redevelop Highbury ourselves? Can you name one thing the football team has been able to do it would not have been able to do without the Board choosing toundertake the project instead of simply selling Highbury?

Personally, I can't.
I think it was a big mistake.
Should have sold the site to developers for ready cash.
There again, we all make mistakes. If property prices had continued to boom, then it would have been seen as a very wise decision. not a poor one.

As I said you'll have it this week. Now either offer an answer or admit you're a thread hi-jacker and self-styled censor thank you.

What's the last mistake you made that made you over 100 million pounds, or helped make you that much?
No matter what the impact on the club from 200-2010 would have been the same for the same reasons, and had the project made more money than it did whether it would have gone back into the football team is doubtful at best, and whether it would have gone to paying the stadium off sonner even less certain given Mr. Gazidis's comments to the AST on twitter.
No they made no mistake whatsoever, it did exactly what they expected, albeit maybe not as spectacularly as hoped.

It might be but it still matters, and shame on you for being too bored to care more about the team and the problems facing it.

To be honest Martin,I don't see why it matters now.Good, bad,or indifferent, the decision/s were made, and can't be changed now.I accept that it may give some sort of pointer as to what sort of people the board are,but that is about it as far as I can see,but maybe I am missing something.
