After 9 month yesterday we had a babysitter for the first time. :D Everything worked out fine :) .

When did you had a babysitter for the first time?
Who was it (family/neighbour/friend)?
How much do you pay?

Will they do overseas visits? How Much did they cost you? Will they look after twins next year?

The first time I had a babysitter my youngest was only 6 months old.

The babysitter was fantastic however and I was pleasantly surprised what she would do for £5 an hour and a box of fags!

We did swaps with friends when the kids were babes. Then came babysitters. Makes for an expensive night out!

Trouble is that I always had to walk them home and so difficult for a lecherous old man to walk home a 16 year old..... You kind of feel that you should try something on. Just to keep up appearances. Show you are still young.... And you are always pissed as well, just to make matters worse  !

My 17 year old babysits for people these days - £5 an hour. Good job she has her own car so doesn't need to be walked home!

I do as well a little bit, about eight quid, ten quid an hour round here.

Bit easier when you're a lad I guess, you don't get any pervs. Loool.

If we need a babysitter we use the girl up the road, who is also our hair cutter - the fact that she is 22, brunette, a dancer and gorgeous is entirely co incidental.
