Nasri deal broken down?

Nasri deal broken down?

Post by kiwomya »

from BBC...

1455: Given their red card/injury/offside/own goal woes today, just about the only positive news I can offer Arsenal fans right now is that news that Samir Nasri's move to Manchester City appears to have broken down. If Arsene Wenger speaks about it, I will let you know.

He's better than anyone we could realistically buy, though.

if wenger doesn't buy, nasri staying, and staying fit, is about the only hope we've got of a top 4 finish this season, and that's only if liverpool and tottenham suffer injury crises of the kind we usually have

How is this good news??

He doesn't want to play for us. He will leave at the end of this season. We could have received £25million for him.

What a shit way to run a club - lose our Captain for way less than he's worth and then throw away £25million to keep an unhappy player for 1 year.

The Chuckle Brothers could do a better job running our club :banghead:

the only reason i disagree with this, is that wenger wouldn't actually spend any of the £25m, so we might as well have the player, let him leave for nothing, and we'll be where we would've been anyway, without nasri OR a replacement

What did he do today then?

He looked average as per usual because, wait for this. HE IS.

He is not Cesc Fabregas level and never will be, he is just a younger Alex Hleb.

I believe he said he was open to moving to rival ie Man United/City.

I've never heard him say he doesn't want to play for Arsenal.

Remember Gerard was about 10 minutes from signing with Chelsea? Don't remember them cunting him off for it.

It's all a matter of opinion.
