I am now 47 years old and I must say I am quite content with my lott, but I was just thinking what regrets I have and what, I with hindsight would do different if I had another go at it.
Career - Would try to get into teaching, good wage and loads of time off.

Property - Had my own flat before I got married, would hold on to it as nest egg, rather than sell it for small profit.

Marriage - Would marry a bit younger, so that kids would be grown up by the time I am 50, so me and the missus could have loads of weekends away and hols on our own.

Doors innit. A choice made years ago and your life turns out different maybe for the worse. Different Wife,Children,Football team(spuds) you could be Dead!
We had a chance to go to Darwin in the sixties,jobs, house arranged and all
that but we changed our minds. I sometime think what if, but i have no regrets.

I only have 2 regrets i wish i had taken acid during the acid house times of the late 80's i never did and think being about 17 or so i was just pleased to be getting pissed, i know its a strange thing to regret but it wouldnt be the same taking it now and also when i was mid 20's i went out with a girl called Wendy who was an air stewardess and i never got to see her naked i acted like a knob with another girl and she told me to fuck off

i'm not there yet, but i'm seriously worried that i may regret in a couple of years not leaving brazil.

i've been considering it for a while but haven't really convinced myself if i should do it, and to be honest i think i might regret that if in 15 years i'm still here complaining about living in this shithole.

would be great if a 50 year old version of ourselves came from the future and sat right in front of us (when we're 20 something years old) and told us exactly what our biggest mistakes and poorest decisions would be.

i'm only 26 but i've already lost great job opportunities, i dumped the girl who i later realized she was probably the love of my life and i turned down the opportunity to live in miami with good wages (i'd now bite their hands off if the offer came again). i've also been mean to people who didn't deserve it and so on.

anyway, what matters is that we manage to live a good life, gather a good bunch of friends around us, a nice family, and spread all that happiness and joy with people we love. 'cause in the end, we're always gonna regret a few things, but enjoying what we can is the only thing that matters...

I tell you what, apart from not being able to go to Arsenal, I bet many people on here would jump at the chance to live in Brazil!

But if you get another chance to work abroad, take it, as long as you know you have a good chance of getting a job back in Brazil if you decide to go back and as long as you know you will have good friends where you are going to.

I am a bit older than you and can tell you that at 26, you should not worry about that girl. Enjoy life and you have plenty of time to find a good woman. Or in your case, a good ladyboy.

but mate, lots of people from europe would love the idea of living in brazil because of the sandy beaches, nice women and latin lifestyle, but living in such a place is very different to spending a month of vacations. the levels of violence, corruption are incredible and would scare people away. quality of life here is incomparably lower and the overall level of intelligence, respect and knowledge of brazilian people is shameful

No regrets just wonder if I hadn't misheard a conversation with a girl when she said I don't think your mate realises we are together she meant me and her not her and her mate. Doh. A rebound thing which was right person wrong time. Oh well never mind, can't change history only make it.

I regret not remembering a bird's name in Hollywoods in Romford. She told me it three times (within 15 minutes) and said "If you've remembered it, you can come back to mine". I said "fuck that" and walked off.

I regret not supporting Man U. If I did it now, I'd probably be called a glory hunter. Feck. I've even been to Manchester once.

Speaking of which, I regret going to Stoke. It was only one day, but fuck me, what a tip.

Oh, and I seriously do regret spending about £60k on nothing. Literally, fuck all. Racked up credit cards to £30k. Got a loan to pay them all off, then did it again. My mortgage is now £60k bigger than it needs to be

When I was a young lad (many moons ago) there was a girl named Judy who worked in my office block. She had a fantastic body. Tits, arse, legs. And a lovely face. Eyes you could fall into. Cute little nose. Lovely full lips. Jet black hair. She was absolutely beautiful.

For some unknown reason she took a liking to me. And let my workmates know that she had a "soft spot" for me.

I was in total awe of her lovelyness. Too shy to even think about asking her out. It was a missed opportunity. Huge.

Apart from that, I'm fairly happy with the way my life has gone.

And I'll be sixty next year.

We all have regrets. But we should count our blessings. And be grateful.
