LOSE HEAVILY TO SPUDS AND Bonne Nuit

Post by Babatunde »

I honestly think that if Wenger takes a heavy beating at Spuds, following on from the 8-2, then the even worse Blackburn comedy then he'll be afraid to leave his house.

I'm not saying the board will do anything. I'm saying the fans will tear Wenger apart. What will make it worse will be if Adebayor destroys Koscielny and Mert (as I fully expect him to).

This game will break Wenger if the Spuds get a big win. (I.e 3-0 or 4-0)

Thoughts?

been thinking about this and i can only come to one conclusion....this board are so cautious and one dimensional they can only see wenger in charge and not only that who else would come working under the financial constraints we are under right now. for me even if we take a tonking on sunday and finish mid table wenger will be in charge. long term maybe his health will become a reason for him to move on but no way will this board hang him out to dry.

I was expecting a whole fucking bible off you then

That would give the spuds something to brag about if wenger walks after the NL derby so i hope that dosn't happen.

The flip side is what better way there is to answer his critics and solidify his position by winning over there.

Don't think he'll be axed now no matter what, and as much as I want him to go, I don't think I'd want the spuds to be able to claim they got him the sack.

I actually don't think we'll lose heavily. They ain't Man U and we are stronger now that the OT humili8tion.

As long as he is gone by January I'll be happy.

The OP's posts are just getting silly now.

In answer to the question (although I know it wasn't posed as a direct question) - thanks, but no thanks. I'd rather be happy than furious. To each his own, though.

Bit of a double edged sword here, whilst I want Wenger out, and a heavy defeat against the spuds followed by his usual excuses, would surely be another nail in the old bastard's coffin.
I wouldn't want them to be able to revel in the glory of playing a apart in his downfall.
Although I must also admit that an Arsenal victory would only serve to feed Wenger's ego and have the akbs telling us that we are back on track.
So I would be more than happy with a draw, and leave the hanging of Wenger to less despicable opponents.

A few of the new boys have a chance to make a name for themselves in this game.

Hope we get to the weekend without anymore injuries.

I can't back it up with 2 pages of stats or with make believe "facts" but I think we'll beat them.

Modern Arsenal fans tearing Lord Vader apart? Not gonna happen. We could lose 6-0 on Sunday and there will still be thousands of deluded fans singing his name the following game...  :(
