all depends who we are playing, each game requires different tactics

and hope people don't pick Mertesacker, because he had a nightmare against Chelsea

Tough one.

Nice problem for the GIC though.

Metersacker everytime right now.

He was poor yesterday and I don't think he has had a decent game of any note for us yet.

Kos has been playing very well lately and I really think he has improved beyong belief.

As for TV5, I am still not convinced he is as good as some make out but whatever he is better than the German.

None - we drop Djourou, and put TV or Kos at right back.

The big pile of stinking dog shit that is otherwise known as Mertasucker should be dropped after yesterdays performance. He makes Phil The Big Swiss Cheese Senderos look more assured in defence and that really does take some doing :banghead:

You joking? He was very good in the air and made some important blocks.

Djourou on the other hand was dire.

Why would you want to take your only in form centre half and move him out of position?

Does anyone really believe that whoever gets picked we will suddenly stop shipping in an alarmingly high number of goals in the most ridiculous fashion?

Mertesacker is where Kos was this time last year, it will take him months to fully adapt to the pace and intensity of the Premier League. Look at Kos now, he looks 5 times the player he was last year. Mertesacker is quality, you don't play 78 times for Germany if you're useless.

The last thing i would do is move/drop kos, either drop mertesacker for Vermaelen (on current form this is reasonable) or stick with the current partnership and TV5 has to wait his turn/play left back.

People wanting to move or drop koscielny are mental :barscarf:
