Terrible news. Yet again just shows you that none of us know what's round the corner. I'll always remember him for the 1989 Anfield game after our opening goal. He went mad at the ref claiming I think that the linesman had flagged for something.

Agree 100% with this.
Ablett wasnt a great footballer but seemed honest enough and his efforts appeared to make him popular at whichever club he played at

It is becoming far too frequent seeing people dying at such a young age and it is especially hard to comprehend when that person dies of cancer
