Dickie Davies , World Of Sport , wrestling ,darts , Saint And Greavesy seemed to be plenty of jobs , pubs were full , no speed cameras , speed bumps , cctv how things have changed , for the worse imo we are now a nanny state where fags and alcohol are getting priced out the normal mans range . Stop the kids going uptown coz they cause too much trouble and the police are needed to do real work like catching speeding motorists to top up the government coffers . I want to go back to the days of JOCKY where we made our own choices . Rant Over !

R.I.P.

I do not mean this in a bad way, but am surprised he lived as long as he did.

Tough life.

From wikipedia:

Wilson was a constant sweet-eater and generally refused to brush his teeth - "my Gran told me the English poison the water" - he had lost his last tooth by the age of 28. Following his 1982 World title win, he paid £1,200 for dentures, but never took to them. They made him belch when drinking, he complained.[3]

A heavy smoker for forty years, in November 2009 it was announced that he had been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.[4] He died just after 9 p.m. on 24 March 2012 at his home in Kirkcaldy.[5]
