I don't know the history, but I have seen the banter regarding augie being given moderator status, and it seems that there is no animosity between augie and the mod's on here, so, no issues there.

I don't know whether there is a position for another mod but, if there is, I would like to nominate augie for consideration.

My reasons are, he is quite generally thought provoking and wastes no time getting his point over. Alright, he might have the odd bad morning, but he does not insult posters who are contrary with their replies to his points. After 11,000+ posts, he has shown that he is also dedicated to this site too.

He is obviously passionate about our club, and whilst he has strongly held belief's, I do not consider him generally, to have an agenda.

Cue, bummimg and sycophantic remarks.

........ I almost forgot. He would not abuse his position to increase his post count by editing other user's posts.
He also is available throughout the day, like most other mod's.?

I also enjoy the daily input from augie in much the same way, and I believe that he has the mental strength to join the assembled squad of Mod's.
