Here's my problem - last time I went to the UK I left from Belfast and had no passport control whatsoever. Can anyone tell me how big of a problem that can be for me when I try to enter the UK again?

The UK is the preferred destination of most economic migrants. And criminals.

The laws of this country are stupidly soft. Housing and social benefits are a magnet to the world and his uncle.

Our country is being slowly strangled to death by people who have contributed nothing but live in benefit funded housing which most of us couldn't afford to live in.

It's not the fault of the economic migrants. I would do exactly the same as them, given the same options.

The government needs to grow balls. Forget the "racist" bollocks. We are talking about sustainable economy.

Bring a passport.

I think you were lucky in being able to travel without one, though of course Belfast is the same country as London because the official name of the country is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, so you actually travelled internally.

You misunderstood me. I have an entry stamp, but i have no exit one because i left via Belfast to Dublin. Of course I'll bring a passport, thing is I'm afraid that in the immigration system, i'll be considered an illegal, because tecnically, i never left.

All because they have no fucking border control on the Belfast-Dublin train. you should sort that out, you know.

There is no passport control between Belfast and Britain as they are in effect the same country (its complicated  ) and there is also no border control between Belfast or Dublin because depending on who what you believe, they are also in the same country   . Anytime you fly from the Republic of Ireland to the UK you dont go through passport control because of EU laws. I have no idea what will happen when you try to get back into the UK but i would imagine that if you explain that you left via Dublin they would understand why you dont have an exit stamp if indeed you need one at all.

if you think it could be a problem, you can always make a new passport, which will be blank, and then go there as if you never really went before
