Dear United Fans...
Dear United Fans...
Ok so of course you're all smarting now, I can't ever forget how sweet it was when Sol signed for us it's a real buzz.
Our club cares nothing more than to make money and whilst we finish in the top 4 and sell out our stadium our talent will continue to move to more ambitious clubs. We as fans are being mugged off and have been for the past 5 or 6 years.
No one knows RvP fitness better than Wenger, one full season in 10 isn't going to improve as he turns 30. He maybe worth the 150k you will pay him for a season but in seasons 3 and 4?
But my real question is with regards to Ferguson love of Arsenal players. He was after Vieira, Nasri, RvP (as few seasons ago also?), wasn't he sniffing round Henry too a few years back and he was in love with Adams.
I don't ever remember Wenger chasing a United player, not one ever. What dos that tell you about where the real world class talent is developed. Not the Premiershp all stars that United depend on buying from desperate Premiership sides unable to keep hold of their best assests (of which we are now one). Fergie knows where the real class acts come from.
Perhaps Nasri wasn't so bad after all.
RvP has ruined his legacy at Arsenal, you saw what Henry meant to the club when he returned, RvP will never be welcome back where he grew as a player for 10 years. Not that you give a shit of course!
Good luck with RvP though - I hope you have many years of injury-free success with him. I doubt and hope you don't though. In the cold light of day perhaps Nasri wasn't so bad after all.
It was fun watching City win it last year, even more so this!

Re: Dear United Fans...
Still can't believe he's gone to United. Wanting to leave is one thing, but after 8 years of being treated like royalty when any other club of our stature would have washed their hands of him (never mind taken a punt on him in the first place) he knows exactly what this move means for him and the fans. In a way this is worse than Cole. He was (and is) a c*nt, but at least he knew that and didn't try and hide his motives, that patronising piece of shit RvP released as a 'statement' was unprofessional, self-serving and tried to mug all the fans off.
Already been wound up to my limit by stupid United 'fans' being smug arses about how spending £24m on RvP is going to win them the league whilst on the other hand trying to ridicule City for trying to buy it. Sincerely hope that he picks up a serious injury on his debut, although maybe it would be better if when we play them Andre Santos does a job on him. What upsets me is that there's nobody who'll do that. Even when Cole left, you could see how much players like Fabregas really despised him and wanted to humiliate him, I wouldn't be surprised to see our players laughing and joking with him when we play them, even though he disrespected them hugely.

Agreed, if you want to leave step up to a team like Barca. We may not like but you can see the appeal.
But United, a team that plays an inferior brand of football, a horrible City - why has he gone. For money and the chance to win at a club seriously becoming overshadowed by their neighbours. For years they've relied on spending power and now City have that privilege also and they're not the big dogs any longer. Chelsea will be stronger this year too.
I understood Henry, Cesc and Vieira, it was hard to deny them. But RvP to United... What a disgusting individual.

Oh! You mean RvP with his name on HIS shirt! ?

Re: Dear United Fans...
We didn't sniff we signed Silvestre for fuck sake !
Get over it he ran for the money ,we are not Man Utd's Rivals we were once but haven't been for years .
With RVP gone they can now sell Song and hey Presto we've balanced the Books without dressing the very real need to shore up the defense.
I've decided the only way is expect nothing and then I cannot be disappointed !

I don't care that he's gone, players come and go and he didn't want to play here so I didn't want him here BUT I feel sick that he's gone to United.
Re: Dear United Fans...
Rob your point about wenger never targeting manure players as signings is a moot point cos the c**t has a history of not buying proven talent so they wouldn't be even on his radar
Secondly we all know that ferguscum would never sell a valued player to us so why would wenger consider bidding for them ? Kinda shows up the difference in mentality of the two clubs doesn't it ?

Fergie looks at Arsenal like Spurs and Everton now who he used to rape for their best players, this will only be the begining, the club gave in once, that's it, Wilshere will be next when Scholes quits, if Gibbs becomes good he will be in for him, Scezeney will be the new Schmical or however you spell it.
This was a bad move, the club has to respond now.

Re: Dear United Fans...
Was gonna say exactly this. And the fact that Wenger wouldn't pay anywhere near the asking price to sign any players from them. What do you reckon he'd offer for Rooney? £8m?!augie wrote:Rob your point about wenger never targeting manure players as signings is a moot point cos the c**t has a history of not buying proven talent so they wouldn't be even on his radar![]()

Oh, but don't forget Mikael Silvestre!

Re: Dear United Fans...
RVP has joined a bigger, more successful & more ambitious club, is more likely to win something & he will be earning more money in the process.
What a moron.
Only at Arsenal would we vilify someone who scored 37 goals last season.
Same as Nasri... "Money grabber, blah, blah, blah". Oh, title winner as well.
There is no such thing as loyalty in football anymore. Hasn't been for years. Get over it.

Oh, I almost forgot.
He will be playing for a Manager with the best record of winning trophies, that values experience, hates finishing second & has built & re-built team after team without sacrificing success.
Again, what a moron.

Re: Dear United Fans...
This! The only problem is that the current management team (board included) do no care about this. They don't have to walk through smug United, Chelsea, City fans after suffering a defeat. They don't have to put up with the 'banter' at work. They don't have to spend half a months salary on a season ticket.Gunnersaurus wrote:Fergie looks at Arsenal like Spurs and Everton now who he used to rape for their best players, this will only be the begining, the club gave in once, that's it, Wilshere will be next when Scholes quits, if Gibbs becomes good he will be in for him, Scezeney will be the new Schmical or however you spell it.

They sit there counting their cash firmly in the belief that finishing 4th is 'competing'.
The only way the club will respond is by releasing another profitable, full year, set of accounts.

Re: Dear United Fans...
Work's fun this morning-all the United fans from Surrey banging on about how they're going to win the league! If we don't win the league(!) then, quite worringly, i'd rather city win it just to prove those mugs wrong.
