Help with PC/Windows Media

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Help with PC/Windows Media

Post by OneBardGooner »

I don't know why it's happened - is happening - But I have the latest Windows Media on my PC - I ripped some Cd's onto it...all well and good - they played fine etc...I wanted to remove them so I 'Deleted' and ticked the option -:

Delete from Library and Computer

(as opposed to delete from Library only)

But they are still there - the title/info etc...But they won't play and they won't go away(Disappear) :banghead: :banghead:

And before any funny(NOT) *word censored* asks..yes, I HAVE switched it Off and On.

Anyone had anything like this happen....? :? :? :?

Thanks in Advance for any help you can give.

Mate,

What is the extension of the files that remain? I.e. (file type) like .wav etc.
What error are you receiving when you attempt to delete the files?

Cheers
Frank

They will be in the recycle bin. Just go there and click restore files.
