what's the point, he will only be able to fight in the UK, the yanks won't want to know him after Pacquiao and Mayweather gave him a beating, he offers nothing now,
the only prime time fight i can see him going for is Hatton v Khan
he should just do the prize fighter, bollocks on sky

Makes me unhappy to see him fighting on.
Not even about money, really do not believe he has blown all his cash.
He is bored, and empty after retiring.
But a comeback after the amount of punches he has taken over the years?
No doubt he can make big cash...Khan, Brook (if he wins a world title), grudge match vs Witter, and do not rule out a fight with Bradley or a Mayweather re match but in Manchester or London.

Agree with Quartz that it's probably about the boredom. As I recall Joe Calzaghe went from being a super-fit role model from a fairly deprived community to a coke fiend within months of his retirement.
Not a huge boxing fan but thinking about how Hatton finished his career I'd imagine he'll get knocked down fairly easily if he takes on any decent fighter.

What does Ricky hope to get out of this comeback? Surely he doesnt realistically think he has a chance of becoming champ and/or beating either or Pac-Man, Mayweather. Where is is all going to end? Greed

Sad to see really. I watched him on (I think) Soccer AM or Goals on Sunday with that absolute arsehole media-whore Kamara having a race drinking pints of milk. He looked coked, drunk and mildly retarded tbh - and the words "prank monkey" kept popping into my head.
It was deppressing viewing. He should just stay retired.

I think thats the reason he hasnt stayed retired, he wont have to act like a cock to stay in the limelight anymore.
He's only 33 and you're a long time retired as long as he wants it enough and is protected by the ref/his corner if anything does go wrong in the ring good luck to him. Lets face it a comeback is either now or never it will be too late in 3-4 years time
